Brad Garlinghouse Said That Ripple Is Considering Deals For FTX Assets

CEO of Ripple Brad Garlinghouse stated that his organization would be interested in FTX-owned businesses that cater to commercial clients.

Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple, is apparently interested in purchasing some crypto assets from the defunct FTX cryptocurrency exchange.

Sam Bankman-Fried, the former CEO of FTX, called Garlinghouse, according to The Sunday Times, two days before the company declared bankruptcy as he sought investors to salvage it. On November 16 and 17, Ripple's Swell conference was taking place in London when this occurrence took place.

The two talked about if there were any FTX-owned companies that Ripple "would want to own" during the discussion, according to the company's CEO. "If he needs money, there may be businesses he has purchased or that he owns that we would like to acquire. Have we purchased some of those from him? That was undoubtedly on the table,” he asserted.

Garlinghouse acknowledges that a prospective purchase for an FTX firm will be "quite different than it would have been one-to-one" now that FTX has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the United States.

"I'm not denying we'll have a look at such things; I have no doubt about it. But it's a more difficult route to go”.

The bankruptcy case in Delaware includes over 130 FTX-related businesses, including FTX.US. LedgerX, a crypto clearinghouse, FTX Digital Markets, FTX Australia Pty, and payment processor FTX Express Pay are a few subsidiaries that are not involved in the legal actions.

It appears that Ripple's leadership, like many others in the sector, are keeping up with the most recent FTX scandal developments.

The chief technical officer of Ripple, David Schwartz, tweeted to FTX employees on November 10 to inform them that Ripple may have a position for them as long as they aren't involved in compliance, finance, or business ethics.

What sort of attention would it bring to Ripple community, if Ripple indeed acquires some of the FTX assets? It seems that their intentions are for the sake of keeping crypto space safer. The easiest way to support Ripple is to buy XRP now. You can do that by visiting one of the top Ripple buying brokers called BC Bitcoin.
