Wallet Specialist – Luke

A study undertaken on behalf of BTC Markets showed that more Australians are preferring investing in Cryptocurrency than silver and gold.

As per the recent study, affecting more than 2000 Australian buyers, buying Bitcoin and Ethereum tend to be more common than gold and silver, but only by a slim margin. In February, about 12.6% of Australian buyers hold Bitcoin investments and certain Cryptocurrencies along with 12.1% holding silver and gold.

Although the gap is relatively small, those between the ages of 25 and 34 drive cryptocurrency acceptance in the nation. In the meantime, real estate and collectibles was ahead of cryptocurrency at 25.8% and 18.8% respectively.

As far as their favorite cryptocurrency is concerned, Aussie investors are very involved when it comes to buying and selling Bitcoin and Ethereum. 83.2% claim to own Bitcoin while 42% claim to own Ethereum. Other top financial currencies on their radar involve Ripple, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash with 28.5%, 18%, and 12% respectively.
