One of the world's fast-growing platforms to exchange crypto assets has made the news recently as they plan on expanding their team. Crypto.com has decided to make an addition to its staff by hiring a former Country Manager of Visa Korea and Mongolia. The newest staff member taking over the role of General Manager for the crypto exchange is Patrick Yoon.

Founded in 2016, Crypto.com has achieved 10 million customers on the platform, with around 2600 members of staff across the world. And in recent news, the exchange appointed Patrick Yoon as the newest General Manager for the South Korean branch. Reportedly, Yoon is said to provide a strong track record for success in finance to the Korean crypto industry. Yoon took part in many significant roles in previous positions and worked in large traditional finance organisations to big tech and fintech players.

After a dive into market research, Patrick Yoon reportedly stated that there is a growth in interest for South Korean investors to invest in cryptocurrency and digital assets. Yoon further goes on to say how he's excited to work for the exchange platform and to promote the brand's expansion in the country of Korea.
