Forbes magazine has listed the 6 big winners of the recent crypto rally, featuring the co-founders of Gemini, the Winklevoss brothers Tyler and Cameron, as the wealthiest Bitcoin (BTC) Billionaires.
Created by Forbes crypto-minded journalist Michael del Castillo, the list shows the top ranked Bitcoin investors who gained the most from Bitcoin’s January surge when the price to sell Bitcoin rose to $42,000. The ranking consists for three other Bitcoin investors with a total crypto net worth of over $1 billion, this includes Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, large industry investor Tim Draper and co-founder of the Blockchain firm blog, Matthew Roszak. The Winklevoss brothers sit at the top of the list with a crypto net worth of $1.4 billion each. Roszak closely follows with $1.2 billion, almost tying with Draper whose cryptocurrency net worth is at $1.1 billion.
The list also consists of three more contenders, with Michael Saylor, the CEO of MicroStrategy, Mike Novogratz the founder and CEO of Galaxy Digital, and Vitalik Buterin the co-founder of Ethereum. Its reported that Saylor’s net worth is roughly at $600 million, with Novogratz sitting at $478 million and Buterin $360 million.
Castillo mentioned that the list is not an overall or complete ranking, but it shows how greatly some people’s wealth and Bitcoin investments have grown. Reportedly, the recent Bitcoin bull run made over 5 billionaires.
