Introduction to Auto (AUTO)
The Autofarm protocol emerged on the Binance Smart Chain in the later part of December 2020, and AUTO is its native utility and governance token (BSC). Autofarm is a cross-chain yield aggregator that enables users to stake their assets in Autofarm vaults to receive a high return on their assets via yield farming pools.
By combining yield optimization and AMM aggregation into a single product, Autofarm seeks to become a top DEX and yield aggregator on the BSC. This eliminates the need for consumers to register on various protocols by allowing users to have two products on a single platform.
In February 2021, Autofarm released its first cross-chain vault on the Huobi ECO Chain. By acquiring Farmfol.io, an intelligent portfolio manager created to make it easier for customers to monitor and track their assets on Binance Smart Chain, Autofarm broadened its ecosystem in March 2021.
In addition to receiving protocol fees, the AUTO token may be used to vote on proposals. Only vault users will be able to take part in the AUTO token vault mining program, which was started by AUTO as part of a community fair launch.
The fact that Autofarm asserts to have some of the lowest fees on the market sets it apart significantly from other yield farm ventures like Beefy.Finance and ACryptoS. Additionally, Autofarm has cross-chain capabilities that were initially developed on the BSC before being extended to the Hu-obi ECO Chain (HECO), and additional cross-chain products are anticipated in this roadmap.
Two of the main products of Auto:
- A platform for yield farming called Vaults provides outstanding yield optimization techniques and compounds yields at the right intervals. Users gain from vaults because they share gas costs and automate yield production and compounding.
- Users may get the best pricing for their DEX trades using AutoSwap, a DEX aggregator. To achieve the best pricing value and the least amount of slippage, it divides trades among several DEXes.
