Is my wallet address the same for all coins?

No, with most cryptocurrencies, your wallet address is different for different assets i.e. Bitcoin (BTC) will not have the same wallet address as Ethereum (ETH), Cardano (ADA), or Dogecoin (DOGE). Always ensure you copy and paste your wallet address exactly as displayed within your wallet provider for the relevant asset.

You may find that your wallet address is sometimes the same for different coins and this could mean they are on the same network. For example, your Ethereum wallet address may be the same as the address for an ERC20 Token like USD Coin (USDC). Always ensure you locate the relevant asset you are looking to receive and copy and paste the exact wallet information displayed for that asset.

Also, ensure that the wallet address you send to is on the same network as where you are sending from (and vice versa); for example, Tether (USDT) is on the Tron (TRC20) and Ethereum (ETH) is on Ethereum (ERC20) Network.
