Description: The Guarda Wallet is a Multi-Crypto wallet available as a Web Wallet, Desktop, Mobile and Chrome Extension. Able to hold many different crypto-assets in a non-custodial wallet linked to over 45 major blockchain. The service is offered by Guardarian OÜ an Estonian-based company authorised by the Estonian Financial Intelligence Unit. The wallet is compatible with all ERC-20 tokens and many of the major cryptocurrencies. The first Guarda wallet was launched back in 2017 by the Guarda squad and have been providing services since.

Step 1: Install Guarda Wallet

The Guarda wallet downloads can be found on their official website at https://guarda.com/ or on both the Apple Appstore and Google Playstores. Once you have Downloaded and Installed the wallet, Open the Application.

You can begin creating a new wallet by selecting Create a New Wallet.


Step 2:  Create your Wallet, select password and Take Recovery Phrase

After you have selected Create a New Wallet, you will need to select a Password to secure your account. This will be used everytime to log into the wallet.

Next, the Back Up of your wallet will need to be Downloaded. You can save this on your computer in an Encrypted file or externally. This MUST be saved as you will need this along with your Password to recover the account and assets should anything happen to the device.

It is important you keep this information secure and do not share this with anyone as you risk losing your Cryptocurrency.

Once you have downloaded the backup, you will gain access to the wallet.


Step 3:  Navigating the wallet

The wallet has now been set up and Guarda automatically assigns all security functions to the wallet. This means automatic backup downloads, Session timeouts and password requests to change information within the wallet. The Mobile versions of this wallet allows you to enable Biometric Authentication for quick and secure access.


Step 4:  Add/Remove Assets and View Wallets

When you first open Guarda, it will open the Wallets section. Here, you will find a list of all the assets currently added to the wallet. Selecting the asset will display your Wallet address for Receiving to the account. This is displayed in text and QR format. You can click Receive to display further information about the cryptocurrency.

To add a new wallet, scroll down to the bottom of the list to Add Wallet. Once selected, you can select the currency to add and find this in you list under Wallets

Please take care to ensure you only send compatible assets to the correct wallet.

Your wallet address will appear like this for Bitcoin:

Click on the address itself to copy it in its entirety. This address is required for you to receive Bitcoin. The process can be repeated for each of the wallets enabled.


Step 5: Buy Cryptocurrency & Send to your Wallet

In a new tab navigate to our website and click the ‘Buy Coins’ tab whilst logged into your account or use the following link:

To place an order to Buy Cryptocurrency.

  1. Select the Cryptocurrency you would like to purchase, Payment Method and Amount you would like to spend. 
  2. In the field “Your Wallet Address” provide us with the your Receive Wallet Address where you wish to receive coins (Step 4).
  3. Complete your Purchase and once you have doubled checked your order and wallet information, click “next step” to continue and make payment.

You will receive Cryptocurrency directly to your submitted wallet.

  • 2-Factor Authentication not available. Without this protection the security of the wallet can be compromised with device access and passcode security.
