Step 1: Install Trust Wallet
Search for the Trust Wallet on the App/PlayStore and Install the app on your device. Once the download is complete, Open the Application.
You can begin creating a new wallet by selecting Create a New Wallet.
Step 2: Create your Wallet and Recovery Phrase
After you have selected Create a New Wallet, the Back Up of your wallet will need to be complete. Your recovery phrase will next be displayed which MUST to be noted.
An easy way to do this is to Write Out the Displayed Passphrase on a piece of paper that is offline to the internet.
Once you have recorded the information, Verify the Wallet by entering the requested passphrase words. When you have successfully entered the passphrase words, continue to complete the verification.
It is important you keep this information secure and do not share this with anyone as you risk losing your Cryptocurrency.
Step 3: Set a Wallet Name and Pin/Biometics
To complete the setup, assign the wallet a name and Set a Passcode Pin to greater protect the device. The Trust wallet also holds the feature of enabling Biometric Authentication for quick and secure access.
The passcode or fingerprint will be required when unlocking the wallet, sending funds and decrypting the recovery phrase. With a wallet name and passcode set, you can now add crypto-assets you wish to use your Multi-Coin Wallet to store.
Step 4: Add/Remove Assets and Receive Address
To manage your wallets and assets, Select the ‘Trust’ symbol on the bottom left. This will take you to the Multi-coin Wallet in which you will find a few major cryptocurrencies already listed such as Ethereum (ETH) Bitcoin (BTC) and Binance Coins (BNB). To add more assets, Click on the Plus symbol in the top right and search the asset by name or symbol, marking it as active. This will add the token to your Multi-coin wallet list.
You can view a full list of compatible coins at the end of the guide.
Once you have enabled wallets for the coins you want to use, you can view the Receive Wallet Address by selecting the asset, followed by Receive. Trust will now display the Wallet Address in Text and QR Code format which can be shared.
Please take care to ensure you only send compatible assets to the correct wallet.
Your wallet address will appear like this for Ethereum:
Ethereum Address: 0xc78129783db3165e6629fdfb73b851cadf5c2cd9
Click the far-left icon to copy your wallet address in its entirety. This address is required for you to receive Cryptocurrency. The process can be repeated for each of the wallets enabled.
